I can't recall any tropical storm I've been thru when there wasn't a power loss during the last 50+ years. Most were not ercot related however.

The surge looks to be mainly affecting the LA coast...

And a marginal risk of flooding...

Yep. The 19:00 update came out early. Not looking good for our Louisiana cousins, but it continues to project farther and farther away from the Texas coast.
