My Ruger tale of svck:
Bought a brand new Ruger Vaquero in .45LC. Shiny Stainless with white grip. Pretty thing. Factory new. Even had the yellow plastic chamber cover still in it.
I take it from the shop to the house.
I start cleaning the thing only to notice the chambers don’t look right. They’re too small. So I go to insert some .45LC snap caps to check. The snap caps don’t fit. WTF?!?!? Further snap cap checking determines the cylinder is chambered in .44magnum. Barrel and frame plainly marked .45cal. Fluck me.
Took the gun back to the dealer to show him. He called Ruger right then. Ruger demanded it back RFN. LoL.
Sent it back. Took them 6 flipping months to get me a replacement.
