Been Called "Flash" Since I Was A Kid!
The Gubment grabbed a huge amount of land here for a freshwater impounded lake. Much of the land was family owned for generations but the people were forced to sell it. After they got the land, the project was revised smaller and smaller but they kept all of the land anyway. The final design was just a freshwater lock on the river and NONE of the grabbed land was used for the lake. The land is infested with hogs and since it's a "preserve", hunting is not allowed. They hire pro's to come in and trap hogs so they can be RELOCATED! How's that for a government circle jerk?
