It's dead. I'm a car guy and the ONLY respect I had for Nascar was that the engines where pretty legit. I just can't stand oval racing and without the roar, it's lost all of it's appeal. WTF is wrong with these racing series?

Adult Soap Box Derby! I envision a track with a hill. The "Pit Crew" pushes it up the hill as it keeps coming around the track. Kind of like Olympic bobsled.
