I've heard of her but never really paid attention to what she was up to. But she's joined the "27 Club" of musicians dying at the age of 27 (or there abouts). Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix. But I don't even presume to put her in the class of those musicians.

And as others have said, I thought the same thing...."What took her so long?"
