The ADSS for this year is coming up in a few weeks, mid September, and i just noticed i never posted a link for it.

Got in yesterday evening after a very long, and very tiring drive.

I have quite a few pictures on my phone that I need to go through, and figure out what's what. I'll also be inquiring about what I can get hold of from the professionals that were there doing the real pic. taking.

I'll update with what I can, when I can.

These should be of the main tent, where meetings were had, safety general briefings done, and where meals were served by the ladies under the tents cooking. They were an AMAZING bunch of ladies that volunteered for that duty and took great care of all of us.

I don't know why they some are sideways, they show up as correctly aligned.

I also apologize for the quality of, and my consistency of my finger in, the pics. They were taken with my cellphone, often in the rain or cold.

I think these are all Steel Challenge pics below. This is all .22lr in the ones with the red box There is another Steel Challenge area that was set up for 9mm.

I'm hoping I got more pics of the modified bullseye. It was a 25 yard target. My first string was by far my best.

I have no idea what this area/stage is called. They are targets at a various heights, distances, i think from 10 to 25 yards, sizes, and shapes, in numerical order, all shot with a .22lr pistol and 10/22 rifle. This was by far my favorite shooting stage.

This was another .22lr steel challenge. stage.

I think this was a 10 yard setup.

I have know idea why the pics are all messed up as far as alignment.

This is the "Cowboy Action" stage.

A single action Ruger .22lr revolver loaded w/ 5 rounds and a Henry .22lr lever action also loaded with/ 5 rounds.

Was fun to watch the reaction on some of the peoples' faces when they popped of with the rifle and loaded the next round.

Ranged from mystified, to astonished, to accomplished and ecstatic.

We now get to use one of the pistols Canik was kind enough to provide for us. Four choices of the Rival series, sorta'. Two black, one with a red dot, one without. One of those was metal frame. One of the options was the all metal Competition series models that I shot at the indoor range, which I should have used on this stage.The balance on that gun is awesome!

This area consists of "shoot and no shoot" targets with a shooter activated swinger. Was more challenging than I thought it would be.

Fun stage.

This is the long range rifle stage. Using a Ruger Precision Rimfire in .22lr at about 100 yards firing at graduated targets of 3" down to 1/2" , IIRC, and a 10" I think, plate. The swingers are on a stand I don't think you can make out in my pics. big plate, hit 3". Hit big plate, hit 2.5", and etcetera. Paul, one of the guys in my squad,the one with the Corp stickers on his chair, hit a perfect score.
