These stupid Facebook posts only inflame. Who are you to tell someone to leave who may be offended? Our differences and varied opinions are what make us great. If you expect others to respect you..... It is a two way street.

And "WHO" no longer says the pledge? My daughter is in 10th grade in a public school and they recite the pledge every day.

Yet those of us who love our country must forever take a backseat... what is wrong with being PROUD of being an AMERICAN.
Why should we continuously bowdown, is it wrong to be patriotic? I understand that those who do not agree with me have a right to speak their minds, but so do I... when do we stand up and say "no more". Do I advocate violence against those of differing opinions, no, but I refuse to lie down and let them kick me either. Sorry, today has been a bad day and I'm not being exactly coherent in my "voicing" my thoughts. A man, can only be pushed so far before he pushes back, and the point of pushing back draws closer each day, hopefully the ballot box and the soap box will be sufficient, but my country is a withering vine in a severe drought, with no sign of rain.
