Guess you could carry a Kahr CW9

Checks (almost) all the boxes if you put an extended 10rd mag in it. (Which are available)

Again… not ‘true’ DAO… (same as KelTec pf9) it requires a partial slide retraction before the trigger will finish cocking and enable firing

I have several Sig P365 variants I like very much including a 365X, XL and X Macro - and would like to find something different for pocket carry. Looking for recommendations for 9 mm only with:
    1. DAO or DA/SA only
    2. No manual safety
    3. Available new
    4. 10 round mags minimum
    Thank you!
While it doesn't meet the requirements you listed, my choice for a pocket carry 9 is the Sig Sauer P938. It or a S&W Shield Plus are my most frequently carried guns.

all 4 of those are like the holy grail... I can think of compacts that fit that bill but not a subcompact.

I've been carrying a PF-9 for 5 years now. I bought it because it was the thinnest single stack 9mm available. It fits easily in my jeans pocket. Plenty accurate too.

Unfortunately, the PF9 was discontinued in 2022. I don't think KelTec has anything in the subcompact pocket-carry category any longer except the .32 ACP P32.

    Look at this

I seriously want one of those. Unusual guns are my weakness.

I'm partial to 1911's. I sometimes carry a Sig 938 SAS as the controls mimic the 1911 so I don't have to think wqhat I am carrying should the SHTF. It doesn't make your specs but you should check it out just the same. If I'm not carrying a full size 1911 or Officers ACP this is my choice.
