Always seemed like the 5.7X28 was an interesting option, but the price of ammo and the difficulty of reloading always made me choose other options. So, with the renewed interest by the industry, what is today's wisdom for choosing the 5.7X28?

I shot a Ruger, Tisas, and Psa in 5.7. All three were awesome but I liked the Psa best. Ammo is slowly coming down and will continue to get cheaper.
My only concern would be penetration / performance. It does not seem to do much in the Gel block videos I have seen.
Stick to 9mm
