I used to have an SR22 - doesn't it have some issues?hreaded barrel. I ended up with std version then buying the threaded barrel for it at a later time. I like it. The Ruger Mark IV seems to get good reviews too. SR22 is good if you want to holster it due to the smaller size. Mark IV probably better for targets. There are others out there as well, but these are th

Mine doesn’t. I do remember researching them before I got mine, and there were some problems with the early models, but I haven’t noticed any here. It’s about 4 years old I think..I used to have an SR22 - doesn't it have some issues?
Dammit. Hate to hear that. I try not to long own a sub-par gun. Once I’m pissed off, I typically help them find another home.Another gun on the pass table is the Walther p22. The sleeved barrel is a POS. Once you add the adapter for a can the barrels accuracy goes down hill. I have 1, have 2 friends with them. I'd never trust the gun in accuracy or reliability. It's too frustrating to shoot. I hasn't left the stable in ages.

As of this week I now have a threaded barrel buckmark. No can for it, so unsure how it runs with one. I've had a standard camper model buckmark for several years and it is a great gun. Definitely up for consideration. That's the kind of info I'm looking for. I've seen good things online regarding Browning Buck Marks as well, but don't know anyone that has one.
I'm leaning towards trying to find something that can have an optic on the top...
