We'll be busting primers here in the North zone in just under an hour! Well maybe, if I can get the wife to hurry up. I keep telling her, the dove don't care if your camo isn't matching but it's falling on deaf ears.

Hopefully I'll be updating again from the field pretty quick.

Anyway, post your dove season stories and pics here. If they aren't flying where we're at at least we can keep each other entertained. Oh, and the member posting the best pic and the member posting the best story (chosen by a panel of 8 TGT members) gets a free Ground Zero Precision hat made in Texas by veterans at Texas Tactical Hats! We'll announce the winners on Sept. 30th.

Well, we're done here for opening morning. Headed to the warehouse to get shipping done and we'll try again this evening. Not a whole lot flying with everyone at work and no one pushing them. Evening should be better.

Besides the first two weekends, the regular season starts September 18 in the Special White Wing area. I plan on going the first week of October for a 6 day hunt. I hope.ya start seeing doves flying soon. Happy hunting to all.

My hunting buddy just got us an invite for the Special White Wing hunt in Dimmit county (near Carrizo Springs) on 9/12. Really looking forward to it.

Hope everyone had a good opening day. I spent the afternoon shredding the pasture that we are going to hunt this weekend. By the time I was done I was too tired to hunt. Be careful in that heat. It can be brutal.
