    Hey y'all,

I live nearby Elm Fork Gun Range in Irving, Tx. I've shot skeet there with my Dad a couple times growing up, and now that I'm 18, I want to make sure I can legally go over there and shoot by myself. Am I in the clear?

    Thanks,
    Thomas C.

You should not have any issues as you can now legally own a handgun if you want. (Of course, you can't purchase it from a FFL, but you can from an individual or have one gifted to you.)

I don't think you have any legal issues shooting there, but the range may have it's own rules. Best thing to do would be to call them and ask.

Fawk those rules. Shit like that is why people don't get out and shoot as much. Range owners are scaring them off with rediculous rules!

All rifles at 100 yards must be scoped? I don't own a rifle with a scope -- I guess my Garand and Springfield aren't welcome. What a pansy range.
