There was a guy near Naples Idaho that did that sort of work.
I think his name is Weaver.
Yep. I looked into same thing and figured I’d just buy a new one and send to ADCO. A lot less hassle.Might be cheaper to buy a new 14.5" barrel.
Plenty of places sell them ready to go. Have you done a search yet?Yep. I looked into same thing and figured I’d just buy a new one and send to ADCO. A lot less hassle.
Much like OP, I was looking to have a specific muzzle device installed.Plenty of places sell them ready to go. Have you done a search yet?

Not a bad idea. Wonder who sells a 14.5 with a Thunder Beast Arms flash hider already pinned and welded?Much cheaper to buy the barrel and muzzle device and braze over the pin yourself. Or call the flash hider manufacturer and ask if they know someone who sells a barrel with that done already.
To each their own but I have never understood all the time and expense to lose an inch and a half.
There are so many better options if you want to spend money to make a rifle short.
Seriously. An inch and a half.
