It is amazing what a good .22 rifle can do, especially in the right hands. Have done similar with my marlin 60 and plan to defy conventional thinking by pushing the rifle's capability to 200 yards. Granted, the bullet is fairly weak at that distance, but it still is a rush to be able to nail a target that far out with a .22.

that cool I got a savage mk2 with a scope and it a buchnell with zoom on it . I think the farest shoot I ever did was at 90yd
SO is the rugar 10/22 a gun to have for traget shooting and smail game hunting?
