1 supressor for .300 BO and .233/556 ?

What do you guys recommend for a single suppressor with the task of being on only these 2 caliber rifles?

I use a silencerco saker 7.62 on both. It’s an older design now but it works well, has plenty of mounting options, and the speq pricing is nice.

Pretty much all the Mfg's are good. Go look at them and buy the one that looks good. I'm a SilencerCo guy...

But really any .308 can will work.

If you are planning on doing mag dumps or other high rates of fire, do not get a Titanium can, and be aware of barrel length restrictions by cartridge.

I would recommend 2 cans. If you're on a budget, I'd look at YHM's offerings

I suggest a single can with a QD or quick thread adaptor. I chose a Q Trash Panda and cherry bomb adaptors. Fits on two .308’s in a jiffy and three 5.56’s as well. Don’t have as much to worry about cross threading when taking on/off

On a 5.56, a true 5.56 can will be quieter, and will have better flash reduction.

If you're chasing subsonic performance with .300blk, your .30 cal can will be loud and have terrible flash reduction with 5.56

Not marginally. It's easy to be fooled by .30 cal performance on 5.56's as the tone is usually deeper, but I've never heard a .30 cal can sound even remotely as good as a half decent 5.56 can.



I've heard a lot of suppressors. A 5.56 can is worth it

I’ve shot both 5.56 and 7.62 suppressors on 5.56 guns and for me personally, the physical size/weight would be a bigger factor in getting a dedicated 5.56 can than the sound.
