Just a freindly word of caution for you Suburban & Tahoe owners, particularly 01-05 models. Mine is an 02 Z71 Suburban with 5.3L. If your truck is getting up there in mileage you may want to consider replacing the fan clutch. I just had to drop serious money to have my A/C compressor and several other a/c parts replaced. The problem: compressor belt & tension pully making a chirping/squealing noise for only a few seconds when accelerating. A/C still working perfectly fine & cold. The cause: compressor failing due to high head prssure at idle, which was caused by a bad(or weakening) engine cooling fan clutch. Solution: Replace compressor, accumulator, orifice, expansion valve, ac belt, serpentine belt & thermal fan clutch, flush metal particles out of entire ac system, and recharge.

All this could have been avoided by swapping out the fan clutch at least by 150k miles.
