Question about the Boker autos: how is the quality and durability, given the low price point? I'm used to spending quite a bit more on my knives, and have had a Benchmade 3550 for years, so I'm really curious and have no experience with Boker.

The mid 80s early 90s really pumped ninja stuff including flipping knives into the minds of us teens.

I think the Power Rangers of my kids generation were the last of edged weapons in kids shows. I can't think of any now that'd dare carry such stuff.

Now cartoons aren't manly, not that I'm holding up power rangers as an example of manliness just the last of a dying breed.

This, basically. Add in watching Bruce Lee freaking out with nunchuks when you're a young one, and it's game over. You're going to want a balisong.

Mine just came in today. Seems like a decent knife but it is also obvious its not a $400 microtech if you understand what I mean. I think it is going to be a good knife for the money.

    Sent from Kate Beckinsale's closet.

My $400 Microtech isn't perfect. The button wobbles two directions and there is some play in the blade when extended. I would not buy another one.

Sweet. Had no idea this was happening.
Get to start carrying a Balisong!!!
Passed on HB 1862 to some LEO's who said they hadn't heard anything about these becoming legal.

Exactly. I've always wanted an OTF for coolness factor. 400 for top of line OTF definitely doesn't translate into what $400 for a quality folder will get you. I've been watching a few knife forums in hopes I can get a good deal on a used OTF, but find myself also wandering the folder sections. Lol.
