JD still surprises me with what he pulls out around that place. And now with that new guy hangin around, the surprises have been coming 2-fold!

So on Redjacket Firearms, it showed them shooting a hornaday slug through a rifled barrel and it was accurate at 100 yds. I just bought some rifled slugs, i'm gonna throw on my stock, and we're gonna go see how accurate these are. I'm thinkin 50 yds.

Rifled slugs may surprise you. They actually work very well.

Yup I shot some cheap Remington or Winchester(can't remember which) 1oz sligs out of my 19" Saiga 12 out to 100 yards. It was pretty easy to get hits on milk jugs after seeing where the impacts where hitting.

Well, I just found out that I can pretty easily mount a rail to the top of my shotgun, so I'm gonna get a red dot and a rail for it. Hopefully that with these Remington rifled slugs I just bought will have me a nice 12 ga rifle

I highly recommend you don't fire them in an autoloader. Let's just say the chamber opens a little too fast.
