The Ref is one of my all time favorites. People keep forgetting about it too...it rarely makes the "Christmas Movies" lists.Lord of war
Blow
Donnie brasco
Goodfellas
Casino
Catch me if you can
American gangster
The ref
To name a few.
LOL. I taught Intro to Leadership to Gardner's ("get your a*s up that hill you fat f**k) real life son in college. He looks just like his Dad (they are both thin now).Platoon...
Not only that, the preview was sinister and vague--unlike current previews which give the entire movie away--so it was amazing to watch the actual movie unfold. To this day, I try not to watch preview for movies that I think I am really going to like. I did that with The Matrix and was glad I did.Yep, and it's a great horror movie where it's real suspense and horror rather than just another fucking slasher. But Aliens is the exciting, quotable action movie that I'll stop and watch any time it's on.
IMO, Inglourious Basterds is Tarantino's best film.Shutter Island- If you haven't seen it, hang on to your underwear.
Inglorious Bastards- Fantastic dialogue
The Good Shepard
And a great sleeper... Robert the Bruce. The ratings were not good on this movie. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Maybe because that list is full?it rarely makes the "Christmas Movies" lists.
