Am I the only one that thinks it looks like a Crossman 760 with a magazine?
I was thinking more Browning BAR-22 minus the tube magazine.

I'd prefer it in a hotter round. A 9mm rifle - or even a .45 ACP doesn't really float my boat. A .357 or .44 mag would get me interested - but is probably more difficult to do with a rimmed cartridge.

There is always the “.38Super”, or as some call it, the “9mm Mag”.

I need one to pair with my Omega 36M. Optional Glock, M&P or Henry proprietary magwells
This is going to be a great seller, I'll get a 'Glock' version due to magazine commonality.
Anybody complaining about pricing or the supposed superiority of the long-discontinued Camp Carbines hasn't priced out a Camp Carbine lately - used Camp 9s cost nearly this much, Camp 45s more - and hasn't dealt with the utter unreliability of the Camp Carbines.

I wonder why not a side-gate tube mag like their lever guns ?
Because FMJ rounds would cause the magazine to detonate.

I'm strongly considering one. Firstly, I like the fudd chic. I have an AR with wood furniture. But secondly, I'm very intrigued by the interchangeable magwells. Henry magwell is somewhat advanced relatively to Ruger's. It is larger and appears to permit an upright, SMG-style magazine, which is plain impossible in Ruger.

Unlike another member in this thread, I don't think it was "dumb" of Henry to launch with the proprietary magazines, although in their place I'd go with a flush-fit option. However, I'm quite curious why they didn't promise to support CZ Scorpion magazines from the start.

It's dumb because there's already so many good options for double stack, double feed magazines. There's no need to reinvent the wheel, especially if your new wheel isn't doing anything new.

Cz scorpion, MP5, Colt smg are all good choices, hell even MPX mags are a good choice, already exist, and if you are like most gun owners and don't live in a ban state, can actually be had in not stupid capacities.
