I joined before General Berger did and I would ask the value to join now. We had human relations but we were not the woke military that it has become. You work for a corporation and don't like it, you quit. The military is not like that. For most it is only a job with the possibility of a retirement after not a lot of years and medical care (not to the highest standards).
Still waiting for our woke society to remember that the majority population (if anyone knows how to distinguish that) does not have to register for the draft. My grandson is approaching that age.

There was also the four year long coup attempt by the Democrats in Congress and within the bureaucracy, including liberal federal judges and the FBI. And let's not forget all of the members of the organization that doesn't exist (and yet could rent buses and arrange delivery of pallets of bricks) who burned cities, assaulted and murdered American citizens on the streets, and attempted to burn down multiple federal courthouses and local police stations, often with people inside.

The thugs who attacked the Capital are fortunate the Capital Police were not replaced with Soldiers given the mission of protecting our Congress. Those nose-picking cretins with the body armor, pepper spray, zip-ties, and weapons (Trump was shown to have known about), would have been treated like the neo-Nazi traitors they are... and you are for supporting them. Some have already plead guilty to seditious conspiracy and have years to face in prison. One bomber is still on the loose. The DOJ has a mountain of evidence Trump must account for before the Justice System. He also had hundreds of classified documents illegally in his possession. No doubt you have no idea what a TS/SCI clearance entails, but Trump should go to prison for that act alone. Your acceptance of my military couldn't be less relevant.
