Yeah, but they got to wear vests and brandish cool guns.So Garland said nothing of substance, which was to he expected.
Just to put it out there, the warrant will say something generic along the lines of property and or documents belonging to the US government. The inventory will say something generic about sealed document boxes were seized.
Unless it’s photos of the president committing a clear felony along the lines of starring in kiddie porn snuff films in the White House basement, the FBI overplayed it’s hand.
When Trump left the white house, he (aka his aides) packed up a few boxes and they wound up in Mar A Lago rather than DC (i think the treasury?)where they were supposed to go. Once DC realized this, they requested the boxes from Trump, so he had his people get them to DC. His people missed a few boxes, and as DC was going through the boxes they did receive, they realized there were some confidential papers in the mix that weren't supposed to be in there. Knowing they still had boxes at Mar a Lago is why the FBI got involved and they showed up during normal business hours.
It's not as exciting as any news Channel would have you believe.
Right, but obama is a democrat, so he's is exempt from the law...In case anyone does not know, since 2018, NARA has been in a mexican standoff with Obama for the same exact thing. FBI has yet to become involved.

I would be surprised if they DIDN"T find something... no supervision during raid, no record of what they took, and past actions... Yeah, it will be a long time before I believe the FBI...surprise anyone if they manufactured "evidence" taken in the raid?
I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder. This is my final determination under the declassification review and I have directed the Attorney General to implement the redactions proposed in the FBI's January 17 submission and return to the White House an appropriately redacted copy," Trump wrote. "My decision to declassify materials within the binder is subject to the limits identified above and does not extend to materials that must be protected from disclosure pursuant to orders of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not require the disclosure of certain personally identifiable information or any other materials that must be protected from disclosure under applicable law. Accordingly, at my direction, the Attorney General has conducted an appropriate review to ensure that materials provided in the binder may be disclosed by the White House in accordance with applicable law.
