Yes it was, but just like Mickey Rooney's performance in Breakfast at Tiffany's, I still thought it was funny. I am half Chinese and I wasn't offended by it. If anything I think there was some truth in it. I wish this wasn't the case but there are many people in China who say and do things that are far more racist than that all the time. They aren't saying it just to be funny either, they actually mean it and they do it with the quiet endorsement of the Chinese Communist Party.
