According to the founding fathers, The 2nd Amendment is a law towards government not to infringe on citizen's fundamental right. In other words, it's not a law towards me, it's law towards the government (federal, state, county and city). This should never have had to be decided by the Supreme Court, it really isn't that hard to understand.

It's just that as law abiding citizens, we never gave much resistance to unlawful laws made. Of course today crimes are okay, as long as you have the right political view.

Today's Supreme Court Ruling is a good thing for all of us. This should curtail the liberals from encroaching on our rights for a while. They need to be careful of what they propose for legislation because as it sits right now the Supreme court believes that the second amendment is exactly what is says as written and their BS may get struck down.

I tried to edit the title today, but it’s been too long. I was going to change it to:

SCOTUS 2A Victory: NYSRA v Bruen

But that may be too technical.

Another option:

Huge SCOTUS 2A Victory.

Both of those titles take away from the original purpose why I started this thread, but it seems to be the firstest with the mostest.

Maybe sticky on the home page?

I agree. I think they are just going to take a different path to try and restrict our gun rights.

This ruling is merely a hurdle, not an ironclad obstacle to them.
