Cruz proves again that he is a master of legal speak. He strikes hard at Democrat theology (and believe me to them their party is a religion) He gets shots about Biden's past history while not slamming him as President. He makes the points that certain behaviors by Democrats in past confirmation hearings were designed to be politically polarizing while not staying on the question of the past performance and rulings of justices.
The nominee is not a fool and she is a well trained lawyer. Her face betrays little but she can not prevent her pursed lips and the lifted edge of the left lips in something just short of a smirk. Perhaps it is just a personal quirk in any tense situation, I do not know. But, read the body language where hands are placed, how head is held, eyes lips and other tells. This will be an interesting process.
