I went to Bass Pro Shop this weekend. They had a .22lr 1911 style pistol. They had it tagged as an AMC Bersa (or something to that effect). When I had them pull it from under the counter, the frame was marked with Chiappa.
I'd consider buying the Chiappa if no one has a GSG to sell.
Just looking for an alternative platform to the Ruger or Buckmark .22s
They are $320 at GT Distributors, are you looking for used, if not that's going to be a hard price to beat for a local sale, it's even cheaper than Buds.

Not looking for used necessarily, mostly just a private sale.
I'll check out GT distributors and see what they have.
Burt, I already own the 22/45 and love it - just wanted a .22 in the 1911 styling. I'm torn knowing that the Ruger/Browning type style .22s are proven in their reliability, so I'm taking a risk purchasing an untested .22 style (1911). So we'll see how it goes!
