Flying my flag outside my house. Sadly, no wind when the picture was taken.

    ETA: Had a better picture.

I don't bother any more flying the flag or putting up campaign posters because it has just become an invitation to vandalism and confrontation with morons.

I think Texas should pass a law that allows you to shoot people who come on your property to vandalize or desecrate the flag. Maybe that would be a deterrent.

If you are afraid of vandals, or confrontations you are probably too afraid to be an American as well.

A proud and real American, would fly their American flag and dare some vandal to deface their flag.

You are aware that men and women have died for what that flag represents, and the least we can do is to fly an American flag proudly to honor what it stands for and for those proud heroes that served and died for what it represents?

I still see Trump banners on fences, Trump flags and stacked up hay bales with Trumps likeness painted on the when running through the country. Many accompanied with the Texas flag but every single one with Ole Glory. Gives me goose bumps. In the liberal bastion in which I reside, I‘m able to get away with a small one in front of the house in a flower bed. It’s not grand and waving in the wind, but its the best I can do here...

I'm not afraid of vandal's I choose not to fly the American flag because of the stolen election and the disastrous results.
That's the way I feel, took my down after the communist elections.
I guess everyone that ever put on a uniform and served this country and died, did so in vain if that's the way y'all feel about it.

I sure as hell despise how the election went as well, but I'm not about to disgrace the honor of men who died for what our flag represents.

Whatever makes y'all feel better i guess.

I don't understand why, in 2021, people still have to take care of the symbols of their state. I am afraid to imagine what is happening in less developed countries if we in the United States cannot put the flag on public display everywhere. Personally, this is wild for me, but I am glad that where I live, I can safely place my country's flag on the roof of my house. I even have special lighting with https://www.amazon.com/Flagpole-Energy-Battery-Illumunation-Vont/dp/B00YBDA7DC/, which allows everyone passing by to see the flag, even at night. I am a happy person because I can live freely and speak out about everything that interests me. I hope that this will happen soon all over the world

Move to the country for peace & quiet. 6:00 am I have a crew prepping a pad site for a concrete pour down the street. It wouldn't be all that bad if i had not been up since 12:30 dealing with pain. Nice to know that counties do not regulate noise!

Pain! Many a night my constant companion, just me and pain alone in the dark while everyone else sleeps. I know how you feel.

I have my first new doctors appointment since moving out here. I sure do hope this guy can figure something out! He specializes in opioid addiction.
I dont take too much right now. Actually my lowest dose in about 20 years.

You cant chase being pain free cause it will never happen. You can be completely smashed and depressed and constantly raising your dose or you can take as little as possible to get by.

Not too long ago I was taking 100 mg of extended release morphine 3 times a day and another 90mg of instant release morphine as needed.

    Or 100mcg fentanyl patch

Or 80 mg oxycontin 3 times a day plus breakthru meds.

Ya my pain was lower cause I was a step above a lump on the couch waiting to die. Over 350 lbs. The doc who prescribed all that stuff really did me a dis service.

Now, I've had lots of surgeries and pain procedures and those continue but I'm about 200 lbs in good health otherwise taking the lowest dose of morphine available and some percocet for the ability to keep my activity up weight down and health in check. I cant do much but I'm happier. I'll trade that and the insomnia for pushing 400 lbs waiting to die anyday.

I lowered the meds myself and really hate Drs who set arbitrary limits on meds. I also dont like pain docs who wont use opioids. With chronic pain you need to use everything you can. You still will never be normal but you can be ok.

    Good luck.

I'm lucky enough to live in a small country town where flying a flag, 24/7/365 is not a problem.75 percent of the homes in town and even more in the country are doing so. Around here people shoot those trespassing and ask questions later. During Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day the town/Chamber of Commerce/VFW Council put out flags along the main highway, spaced about every 25' running through town from one city limit sign to the other. I believe they put out 50 flags and to my knowledge none have ever been tampered with.
As Mr. T used to say " I pity the poor fool who does".
