Then kindly just shut up about it altogether.
One of the things that makes things that makes this site head and shoulders above many others is the fact that members here actually go out of their way to help other members.
Throwing that out there then saying “Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, it’s a secret” is kinda douchey.
Not that I don't want to be neighborly, but I don't think I'll post that right now on an open chat forum if you don't mind ! lol

And, I would expect that if the two Walmarts that I know about are getting some ammo, and I've seen others on this and other forums talking about getting the exact same ammo and the exact same price, that most Walmarts are likely getting it.

Have you checked your Walmart stores in your area lately ?

No. I have not set foot in a Walmart since they quit selling pistol and what ever “short barreled rifle”ammo is because feelz.
I barely set foot in Walmart before that because #fuckchina.
But to my original statement, why are you defending your douchiness?
Just put the location out there to save one of your neighbors some expensive gas driving around looking. Is your .22 stash so precious to you that you can’t be a decent person?

Yea, they still don't sell pistol ammo. But they sell .22lr because they consider it rifle ammo and they say they sell rifle ammo. But I don't remember seeing any .223 or 5.56 so I'm not sure what rifle ammo they sell other than they do have some shotgun ammo.

    Who buys ammo at WW.
Wonder if they buy TP at the gun store.

Local Academy closest to me in SA is sucky and has had small amounts.

Did score some at Cabelas last week and a box of 38 and 40 lead.

Got to sit down again and crank out some dempanic ammo.

Over 50% of my ammo I got from Walmart over the years. Lately, it's only been .22lr, and that is pretty rare. About 6 months ago I scored 2 boxes of Winchester M22 1000 rounds per box. Got there just at the right time.

Last year they had a stockpile of 22 mag. Every time I went there I bought a couple. Really good price on the 150 rd 'milk" carton.

Pretty sure I was the only person buying it.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. We never go to walmart but were there bc brookshires didnt sell something my wife needed for cooking. I walked over to the ammo counter and it was full of all kinds of calibers. I bought 300 rounds of mini mags for $7 per 100.

OH I did prior to their awakening.
Now I use WW for other things I do look at the ammo when I happen by but most often Mother Sam Waltons cupboard is bare unless ya want some bird shot.

Least the ones close by me seem to be that a way.

Heck cant even find pellets for the 22 break barrel at Wally and IF the do have um takes the pimple face with the key foevah to frag they lazy arse over there.

I guess the real test about regular ammo availability is if you're able to go in and find it on the weekend. It's back to where you don't have to arrive at 5am in line to score some. I've been able to drop by after work (5pm) and find some, even though a few packages cost more than a hi point pistol.

The guy at the ammo desk at Academy said the long lines on ammo days have gone down considerably. He said where they used to have 100 to 150 people lined up before opening, now they might have 12 to 15. I would think the 2 box limit, the prices and the absolutely lousy selection of ammo had a lot to do with that.

I think they moved the ammo back out to the shelves and from behind the gun counter because the selection they had was total garbage and at ridiculous prices. And they upped the maximum number of boxes from 2 to 4 because 2 boxes of 50 rounds isn't worth walking into the store for.

I was able to get 2 boxes of target 38 special at the academy in Conroe.
They had 556, and a ton of 9mm.
What was the 9mm brand and was it brass or the same steel and aluminum stuff we have up here ? And what was the pricing just out of curiosity?

Brass cased fmj in my area. $21.99/ 50. Multiple brands available.

I assume it would be similar everywhere.
