Well, I dropped by cash for a National Postal Meter model in fine condition. I placed my order shortly after 8 am and pickings were slim at that time. I don't know how many they had but were sold out in just a couple of hours.
Big distributors most likely bought them, so they could raise the price even more.I just read on another forum that midway sold out all of their M-1 carbines in 4 hours!
That does seem possible, but buyers are snatching up everything on the market quickly these days.I gurantee dealers bought most of them and you'll see a nice markup when they actually hit the market.
What do you mean when you said the conditions were "sorry"? The carbine that I received is in the condition that it was advertised in.The prices were high, the conditions were sorry, and they disappeared in seconds.
I read the import marks are on the underside of the barrel about an inch behind the rear sight.
Yeah I cut and pasted that from another forum. My guess the meant rear of the front sight.Huh??? The barrel doesn't go that far back.
