    no2gates,

Other than then FIRST day that OC was lawful, I've seen NOBODY here in SATX carrying openly other than uniformed police/security guards.

FWIW, on DAY ONE, I (& many ,other Texans) carried openly at The Alamo Shrine.
(I'd bet at least a thousand people carried OPENLY at the Alamo on that ONE day but FEW or NONE since then.)

ADDENDA: On Day One at The Shrine there was a LARGE NUMBER of folks who were carrying their BBQ GUNS/rigs & were "dressed to impress". = I carried my S&W 1917 in my CROCODILE skin holster, to match my boots & "better looking" Western clothes/hat.
(YES, my adult daughter, NOEMI, took an arm-load of YELLOW roses to place inside the chapel, in memory of our Texan martyrs.)

Out in the rural areas, it's sometimes a different story.

    yours, satx

I did that day, and the only other time I’ve been to the Alamo since I did as well, but it’s certainly not like people are doing it regularly.

I've only seen one person open carry, he was at Lowes. I open carry when riding my bicycle, I've heard people say the old guy with a gun. I usually cover when going into Walmart or HEB because HEB has a 30.07 sign. In which case I pull my t-shirt out just enough to cover my gun.

Here's a few decent looking leather retention holsters for example:

That is the April 30th report from the Senate committee Not the Conference committee that has the life or death control on 1927 now. They still as of this morning have not released their final language, but that should come out soon

Good catch, i saw Senate report and bit.

    Thanks!

Might need a new keyboard after this session. My f5 key is looking pretty bad from all the refreshing.

Looks like the new signage is more anti-gun. They closed the loophole on correct verbiage and closed the non handgun loophole.

at least ghost buster signs are not valid

    Damnation!

The language in the bill is states the following, or is substantially similar to. That’s going to get tested a lot. Also appears to add a 30.05 notice that allows licenseholders entry, but not non-licensed.

Removes belt or shoulder as the only method of hosltering. Appears to allow off-body concealed carry (bag) as an additional method of carry.
