Standard rail pieces will not fit your handguard. The holes are to big and not designed to attach rails. They may make one for that purpose, but you will need to find it. I'd just order that rail piece you posted from Amazon. If it fits great. If not drill some new holes in your handgaurd the same diameter as the ones in the rail and make it fit. Hopefully the spacing between the mount holes line up.

That's an idea and I considered it. But I feel that may be a botched job and don't really want that on my new AR.

use a hacksaw, take your time and cut along rib, file and of sand when done, color cut with black sharpie, you will never know it's not factory!

if you’re not comfortable doing something and are near Palmer I can give you my father in laws contact. He’s a gunsmith.

Could look for a used Knights Armament M4 RAS with the rail panel and vertical grip pack for ~$50.

Simple to install, battle proven and hard to beat the value for that price. I grabbed like 5 of them back when there were still gun shows

That looks pretty good too. I maybe give it a try if this little plate I bought doesn't work.

Get an Mlok picatiny rail that utilizes 3. To install is easy on yours. Pull the ring back ( at rear of handguard) that holds your handguard and pop the bottom half off from the rear first, install the the rail using the hardware supplied, then re-install bottom half inserting the front first squeeze the bottom and top handguard halves together and release the ring and your done. If your handguard had slots instead of holes you wouldn’t have to remove guard as you would just insert the Mlok hardware and tighten and the nut would twist and lock

Got my grip installed. Used a three slot I picked up off of Amazon. Had to do a little modding to it but it works good. Thanks for all the replies and good info!

Looks like you ended up cutting it down. Nice job!
Thanks! I had to put a chamfer on each bottom side and ground the raised rings on for each hole to fit my hand guard. Did not shorten the rail. It came this length with three slots. Also had to use washers under the two nuts. They were too small and went through the holes in the hand guard. But I think it turned out good.
