I do not laugh. I agree with you. I have talked to some other shooters who actually value training and none of them laughed either.
Nobody says training needs to always be with deadly tools. Tactical training does not require that.
Heck, some elite units use airsoft, paintball or other variants to train their operatives in combat situations.
I once had the chance to go through some paintball tactical scenarios with our local PD and it was eye-opening as far as stress levels, adrenaline, reactions, reasoning etc.
I would definitely be interested in more scenario-based force-on-force training.
