This is funny because Am from Davis is both stupid and misleading in the statement. There may be only 9 million dairy cows in the US, but those aren't the only cows, LOL. There are over 94 million cows in the US https://www.statista.com/statistics...he,than milk cows living in the United States.

The average cat weights about 10 lbs. The average cow weighs about 1400, so you have a 140:1 cat/cow ratio. Finding an average dog size is impossible, but let's say 40 lbs. , so about a 35:1 dog/cow ratio.

Tough and stringy. Usually served as a stew or soup to hide the toughness.

Not my experience. Also in a NATO job at the time. The horsemeat steak was tender and slightly sweet. Not fork tender but nice.
