A bit late due to trying to get stranded motorists, who haven't made the connection between hills, ice and snow, some help here on this side of the cove this morning.
Get a kick how folks from outside Texas always crow about how Texan's can't drive on ice and snow ... yeah, right.
But they do know who to call when facing spending the night in a freezing vehicle ... sad, most aren't even democrats.

We only went four days that stayed below freezing here in East Texas. Considering how cold it did get for a few of those days, the amount of snow and ice, we are very fortunate and blessed. Sure could have been much worse.

I made a pot of Clover Valley Donut Shop coffee that I picked up at Dollar General yesterday afternoon. I'm impressed. Pretty damn good coffee for $3 a can.

I was just there yesterday and walked right by the Coffee. Will have to get a can and give it a whirl! I had some of the McDonald Premium Medium brew.

Clover Valley is the brand name that Dollar General uses for a lot of their food items. I don't know who makes the coffee and packages it for Dollar General, but it is actually pretty good coffee. This was the first time I have seen the Donut Shop blend on the shelves so I decided to give it a try. I'll be buying it again for sure.
