I lived over 40 years with no issue.
Started on meds and there ya go.
Used to eat jalapenos by the handful.
Now I can't even think about eating anything spicy.
Nothing else was happening in the thread.

And I love hot and spicy foods. But there are times, it seems even a glass of water can give me heartburn.

I've been taking Prilosec by prescription daily and Pepcid AC as needed for a while now. The Pepcid is definitely strong enough to offset the really bad days. Zantac was my go to before getting pulled off the shelf.
