    Yep, -111s would fly supersonic at very low levels and blow out all the windows at the sites. I guess it was more common during "bug trips" out in the boonies. Guys on site loved it, but couldn't keep explaining the damage.
    Red Flag is flown in the huge restricted areas around Tonopah (and Area 51), so the F-111s would have had to be inside those areas to be flying supersonic.

    Actually it's closer to highway 95, called the Nevada Test and Training Range. My former stepfather had to work out there many times during bomb testing (nuclear).

    ETA: Highway 95 is the Tonopah Highway though.

    Nope, but I understand why you say that. Not at Red Flag or near Tonopah. It was done in locations they were considering setting up the MUTES/TRAINS sites.
