What you've quoted, seems to me, is spoken with a tone of apathy/indifference on behalf of the author. I know for me I'm not speaking with apathy or indifference. I support the attempt to restore some semblance of law and order. These forces, BCP, are attempting to prevent the desecration and destruction of Federal property. I support that. If you don't like the way this country is run, by all means, change it - if you can. We have established procedures to do that in place. It does not include destroying peoples lives and property because you're unhappy with the status quo!

No reasonable person supports senseless rioting and looting. Heck they happen every year at sporting events. That doesn't mean we need to destroy everything this country stands for in response.

Just like we don't need to have knee-jerk gun control laws passed after every school shooting.

After reading the Reuter’s story, sounds like a bunch of whiny brats to me. Since a federal arrest is going to end up in front of a federal judge, those things are usually squeaky clean with warrants (approved by a federal judge) and prosecutors making the call based on the evidence needed to gain a conviction. Fed prosecutors do not like to lose at trial. Ever,
Especially over a technical issue.

Not everyone is troll. Nor does everything require the incessant bickering that seems to be a default position of yours. After your self-imposed break you came back pretty reasonable but as time has gone on, old habits have returned. You have some good posts but this kind of stuff is getting old, IMO.

just your choice of words in the threads title leads me to believe that this is Clickbait and a trolling effort. The fact you use the word “troops” (Federal troops were not involved in any of these stories) instead of “law-enforcement agencies”; the word “marching” (giving the mental image of the Nazi brownshirts marching down the street), instead of “patrolling”; and the word “citizens” (which brings up the image of innocent people walking around ”, instead of “protesters” leads me to believe that this is just trolling.

You state that you are a gun rights advocate and constitutionalist (Maybe), but in the 4+ years you’ve been a member of the forum you have not had any contributions (other than the aforementioned post ) to any of the postings that have discussed/address gun rights and the Constitution.
