Friend of mine still has one. He rode that damn thing all the way to Alaska.
He must have an iron butt!
We rode my friends from Kingsville to Port Aransas and back, splitting the ride between 3 people, it was MORE than enough.
He was in his 20's, just out of the Navy and the bike was new. But he still has it to this day along with extra parts.
I was probably 18, wouldn't do it, lol.
On top of everything, couldn't cruise much faster than 65.
Can't say I've ridden the AlCan Highway, but I did ride from Great Falls, Mt through Idaho all the way to Lincoln, Ne in one shot.
I'll bet you need to wear a kidney belt to ride in that thing, -but it's pretty.
Ah yes, the 500cc single cylinder.
What most people remember about those bikes was trying to cold kick start it and getting you leg shoved up your a$$

With the gas tank on the bumper I'll be that car can run without a fuel pump as it's front wheels are in the air most of the time..gravity fed!
