When the meat suit lady sang the sound of music. I couldn’t believe that (IMO) she had wasted such amazing talent singing crappy pop music where relevance was maintained via shock culture. Never seen her politics but my assumption is that I’d disagree.
The first time I heard her sing Christmas music with Tony Bennett I couldn't believe it was her. She has a truly amazing voice, and wastes it on the garbage that she produces IMO. I am such a fan of her actual singing talent that I even watched A Star is Born because she sang in it.

    Yes, Gaga.

If you rarely listen to music, you should allot some time to her. Get away from the pop extravaganzas and you'll discover an amazing voice.
It took me a long time to overcome my prejudice and really listen to her. She's definitely a rare talent. A bit out of my realm. But she's one of the best right now.

    Benenglish,

"Get away from the pop extravaganzas"

I never indulge in them, but when I do listen to music I prefer The Ink Spots, Al Green, James Brown, doo wop in general, and lots of Giacomo Puccini operas sung by Pavarotti.

Hhhhhmmm, never paid GaGa any attention.

    Now, I'm in love.

Those eyes, that nose, I love big nosed women and her voice.

I can't watch or listen any longer though, it's too painful....

    Helotes!
Lady Gaga's duets with the ageless Tony Bennett opened my eyes to her talent.

I've actually like Gaga's music ever since the The Fame Monster. I'm not a fan of some of her activism efforts, but if it's what she believes in, than more power to her as long as it doesn't seep into her performances.

I saw U2 back in the early 1990s during their Achtung, Baby tour and all that bastard Bono was going on about was "feed the poor of Africa!" Chuck you, Boner, you're making more money in one night than I did in several years, send them some of your millions! I've got my own mouths to feed!

Honestly, I still couldn't care any less about who sings during NFL games...
