That said, I don't have a great relationship with my in-laws. I think to my FIL, I will always be the "know nothing" computer nerd.

Needy?

Yes. But that’s not what lead up to it. He was looking at the ‘me’ wall in my office and wanted to know how old I was in a photo of me taken during OIF. I turned 30 that year and offhandedly said ‘about your age’.

And that’s how it all started.

Maybe it's leading up to asking for her hand, but it backfired....

That thought has crossed my mind, yes. I’m pretty certain my daughter strongly prefers ‘in a relationship’ to ‘married’ though.

Yikes. That said, I don't have a great relationship with my in-laws. I think to my FIL, I will always be the "know nothing" computer nerd.

I don’t pretend to understand what he brings to their relationship and I don’t need to. That said, I kind of felt like the pitcher that just snatched a line drive backhanded, ending the visitor’s rally, series, and season.

If the frame causes feed problems with 230g RNL, sell the barrel you’re gonna buy on Blck Friday, or get an 80% 1911 frame and go from there.


Seriously, you didn’t buy this for $25 as a functioning gun. This is a learning project.
