He was my favorite. He and Bret Baier.

Seems he walked out due to his high standards of demanding to be allowed the ability to foment impartial, forthright and honest reporting.

To the point...... he found manipulating and spinning Trump's schizzoid shenanigans into a positive facade intolerable.

He was a grownup amongst juveniles.
    Integrity over deception!!
    I'll miss him.

He was not a reporter, he was an opinion host like Hannity. Most of Fox hosts are opinion hosts. Baier at 6pm being an exception. His time slot was the lowest rated on Fox, his departure was inevitable. The handwriting was on the wall when they took is 7pm slot away.

    You are likely correct.

Though I'd assert that he did not have the "I'll tell you what you want to hear and already believe" style that CNN and FOX viewers tune in for.

I spend less and less time on Fox and CNN. I always look at both web sites every single day. I rarely turn on my TV unless it's purpose driven, such as watching a movie.

Can't tolerate the talking heads on the networks. I did see David Byrne of the Talking Heads last year at ACL. Excellent. Just got home from 2019 ACL in Austin tonight. Excellent.

I think he was a little too moderate....but that's just me.

    They still doing that?

    ACL Zilker?
    Hell yes.

    Check out Tyler Childers.
Kentucky roots acoustic was worth the drive and the price of admission.

    And Thom York!!!!!
I've never been a big Radiohead fan but his dysphoric and off-putting and dysfunctional yet soothing percussive rhythms never leave me unpleased. Go figure.

Three years ago I was blown away by the unknown Kasey Musgraves.
    Now she's a multi-Grammy winner.
ACL: Always a pearl to be sought when there the first few hours.

I remember old shep talking through the National Anthem on 9/11 and O'reilley telling him to shut up. I also remember him on a bridge in NOLA during Katrina complaining where is Bush and why isn't he helping these poor people. He was very biased and I don't ever remember him complaining about the left, not even after they were proved wrong. I am glad he is gone.
