Ex wants the Glock 36, Dad had it sent off for a different trigger, which honestly terrifies me how light it is, and I've never been afraid of a gun in my life. I have the stock trigger parts as well.

I'm still working on the list of what we're getting rid of and keeping, and making sure there aren't any hiding in the corners of closets that I didn't know about. Mostly rifles, a few shotguns and oddball pistols, still debating on whether to sell or keep the Chief Crazy Horse. And ammo, definitely do not need this much here, they'll never use it, I'm already having to try and make them go to the range with me to at least run some rounds through the ones they're keeping out for self defense.

Mom's only keeping the 380 and 38sp for themselves, a couple of 22's for sentimental value.

I've got a bigger list of stuff I'm keeping lol

Most rifles we've only got a box or two of ammo for, except 7.62x39 and 22lr, enough for a good day or two at the range :D

If nothing else, this thread has proven what a pain in the butt my wife and kids are faced with if I die anytime soon. They've asked me to catalog my guns and also indicate a current value.

I reckon it's about time I got it done.
You going to put what they actually cost, or what you told her they cost when you bought them?;)

A full inventory and value would have been incredible in this situation, I know we've physically written down serials before, but it's been years, and I know there's been quite a few sales/purchases since it was last done. Lucky for Mom, I like doing this :D
I helped out a coworker's daughter selling her dad's rifles, shotguns and handguns after he passed. I did the valuation of each of them, hooked her up with potential buyers from a local gun club, got her to the right FFL holders and helped her out at the county PD when it came to how to sell his handguns. NY State is a different animal than TX when it comes to guns but even though the gun laws there suck, I have to say it was fairly easy for her to sell all of them legally. A lot of work there was in that but I was happy to help. As you do, I liked doing it and besides he had been a good man so helping out his family was the right thing to do.

I wish you luck with the sales and offer my condolences about the passing of your dad.

Thank you Hoji & Glenn! My main issue is going to be determining value. I've only personally purchased and sold a pistol in KY, and purchased a Para off GunBroker in WA, not much experience in figuring out what on earth these are worth lol

I'll get to work on the list of "sells" and probably get to posting them up :D
