Not sure if it's the same shipyard, but that was a common site for me for a long time.
I've been in waters like that when I was young, no thanks.
I believe they were about 30' swells in a 16' foot boat. It's amazing how fast it can go from being calm to nearly being capsized.Our offshore seismograph crew tried to work for 30 days straight in the Bass Straits, between Australia and Tasmania, without luck. 100' swells were nothing.
Never managed to anchor, much less put our seismograph cable out.

Only authorized pictures (usually naval photographers) can be taken in the CIA of the shipyard, which includes the drydocks.I figured you had to be in one of the pictures somewhere but couldn't locate an arc anywhere.
