gay for pay dont compute with me
Me, either. I couldn't do it. But some guys turn off their hearts and brains and the act just becomes something physical for a paycheck, no more meaningful than digging a ditch. They have sex with women they don't like and don't find attractive for money; for them, it's not a big leap to having sex with men.

No, I don't get it in any deep, personally meaningful sense. But I recognize that the phenomena exists.

    I don't think I've ever seen/ smelled patchouli.
    Smells like dirty hippies.

Try spending hours recording an album, in an air tight recording studio, with a band of hippy musicians who play at renaissance festivals ... a lifestyle where patchouli routinely takes the place of scarce shower facilities.

    Combat pay ...

    Out here by the lake!
Had to laugh at that. My father in law has been wearing Patchouli since the 70's. Still does, wears Birkenstocks, has his LTC, Fox on TV all day, Rush Limbaugh fan etc. Don't judge a book by its smell.
I had a pair of Birkenstock shoes that I wore & wore had them resoled twice & re sewn once. they were my airport & bush camp shoes in africa. If they still made them I'd still have a pair.

I also wore Birkenstock Proffessional clogs for years. They lasted & wore along time but were hell on my feet.

Straw purchase is not illegal under Texas Law. In fact, Texas does not require ANY forms be filled out to purchase a gun.

I really don't understand your point. You are just splitting hairs now. It IS a question on form. We also know local LEOS do work hand in hand with Federal LE. Who is to say ATF UCs weren't there, saw something, and utilized local LE to make the stop? FBI and Marshals did that many times in our city.

Under what authority would a local PD invest 4-6 officers, multiple cars, hours and hours of time, to investigate something that is not a crime?

There is no evidence any Federal LE was involved. No ATF agent is going to initiate a stop of a suspect BEFORE he hands off the gun to actual buyer. Without that handoff, there is no case, and now the straw seller is tipped off. And if they are working with Federal LE, why would they stop at city limits?

Nothing passes the sniff test here, and speculating possible highly unlikely and irregular scenarios like straw purchase to make it sniffable, is silly.

Under what authority?? Uh, the Chief. There is also no evidence Federal LE was NOT involved. This has all been speculation in response to what the OP posted. Again neither you and I were there and don't know WTF went on. We don't know if the OP is being truthful or not, I am just going by what he is saying and taking it as fact and trying to explain like everyone else. I mean how silly is it to think the local ATF office might run a sting at a local gun show? How silly is it to think they would not ask for help in running a stop. Do they want to stop folks in plain clothes or clearly marked uniforms? Psst, not very silly. IF the ATF was running a UC operation chances are the OP ain't gonna pick it up. I mean Buddha damn. Me thinks you just wanna argue for the sake of argument. That's ok, I do too.

If you don't think LE is concerned with straw purchases at gun shows, hey more power to you and keep thinking that.

    The entire thing is BS.

OP thinks he was pulled over because his friends are black. Or because he bought an AR-15. Or because they all have their own cars. ROFL. Others are now making up improbable scenarios to fit this improbable event. Like it is some kind of giant FedLE/local cop operation, but somehow the cops can't cross city limits. But they will wait an hour while he has lunch. And the FedLe cannot question the suspects, and in fact let the other suspects go, because they left city limits. Boerne has 40 officers and we are to believe they deployed 4-6 on this one wild goose chase. ROFL again. There is no possible way anyone with LE experience cannot see through this in 1 second.
