I'm not going to lie, I jump on the 1911 sucks bandwagon because it's so damn fun watching y'all get wrapped around the axle about it. It's meant in good fun. I don't mind them. They're just not my first choice in a defensive firearm.

Although I find the claims about not needing more than 7-10 shots in a gunfight to be rather close to the anti-gun crowd's.

Do I want every damn round I can get without reloading if I should find myself in a gun fight? You bet your ass I do.

Same here. Fun fact, I pocket carry a P938, which is similar enough to a 1911, almost every day during the summer

Hell I carry a Shield which has an 8 round mag with another 8 round mag as
backup. I'm comfortable with that on a day to day basis.

I keep the higher capacity stuff for the home. I've carried a Glock 19 before with another magazine though because I could and it's Houston - crazy shit happens here.

Everybody knows that a .223 is too weak for self defense.

That’s why they make 30 round mags for Glocks.
