And Lord know we've had fun with it.I normally don't post reviews, but if this will prevent someone else from going through the really bad experience I did, then it's worth it.

Agreed, while there's practically no chance I will ever have to deal with this store; I appreciate hearing people's bad experiences so I know to avoid them if there's even a chance.
Well on THAT note, let me tell you about my most recent experience:
Bought a gun on gunbroker, from a store in Tennessee ("Northside Gun Shop is a Veteran run, full service, family owned gun store located at. 2482 Nashville Hwy Columbia , Tn. Tennessee, USA."). I gave them my FFL info (Eagle Gun Range, Farmers Branch, TX), and they promptly sent it off to 4 Q Guns, in Plant City Florida. The Florida dealer received the package no signature required, it was just left at his door step.
So he went out of his way to get my contact info from the TN dealer, contacted me and sent the gun off to Eagle Gun Range. Whereas the Tennessee dealer, when asked about this, was like, derrrr we would have taken care of it eventually, it took us only a week to reply to your "WTF over".
Nah, that's pretty well proven to be a triggering event. You should've taken a picture.

Worst part of the OPs experience is the fact it was the owner, and not some low paid employee who doesn't care how the customer is treated.
I think it makes a huge difference, but that's just me.
I've never heard of this place and I'm sure not planning on going.
Nice cigarette pack. Gives it a certain atmosphere.
Needed something to show the size. Just looking at pictures of them by themselves, I thought these were the size of a Glock 29, when they're actually more the size of a Glock 19.
That gun's got a fat butt. I vaguely recall those. DAO .45ACP. How's it shoot?
The lesson here is take the damn pictures at home man.
Yes, and having to go into a long drawn out response kinda verifies that.Nothing ml1209 did was unreasonable. A customer can take all the pictures of their guns that they want. Any normal gun shop wouldn't have a problem with it.
Sorry, but given the owner's response, it's pretty clear who the guilty party is in this. There is something wrong with this guy, and there is no way in hell that I would consider doing business with him after hearing this story.
I am glad that ml1209 has found better options, could you imagine if this guy was the only FFL around?
Professionally a response should be something like: "I'm sorry for your experience, but this is the reason why.... (short and to the point explanation)"I like reading long, drawn out responses rather than an incomplete, hastily drawn summary that leaves out a lot of needed details to complete the picture.
Do you own a business?E.R.
If that's your opinion, fine by me.
I have mine.
