I couldn't find any threads on this particular gun(maybe I didn't look hard enough). I wanted to know how many people have one. I bought one back in March for $495 at Cabela's. I know it's a little steep compared to online prices, but it was a convenient purchase. I wanted one since I first saw them in war movies, a soldier shoving in that magazine and slapping down the charging handle letting loose some lead. Of course this is the 22LR version, but it's still cool! I've shot about 2.5k rounds so far and it has been a pleasure, no felt recoil. I've purchased two extra 25 round magazines, a soft 38inch gun case, sling, Walther PS 55 red dot and Walther PS 22 red dot. I really like the PS 22 red dot as it rises higher off the rail and it was easy to sight in. I'm hitting the Steele easy at 100yrds. Any ideas to share about this gun or just how you liking yours so far! :machine:

    Out here by the lake!
I have one of the early ones that H&K slapped with the cease & diciest order. It was fun until I got a registered sear & had my SP89 converted into a MP5K Navy. With the KAC suppressor it as quiet if not quieter then the .22 clone.

The gun is surprisingly quiet. I let a guy next to me at the range shoot it, his face after the first shot was like there is no recoil and only the sound of the trigger pull! I've manually fed it some Aquila quiet ammo with no ear protection right in the back yard. My pellet gun sounded louder. I only wish I could remove the barrel shroud and exchange it for one with rails.

I wouldn't mind having a suppressor for this gun, I'm going to do the paperwork to attain one. I'm a little naïve when it comes to some terminology, but what is a registered sear?

There is a link around that demonstrates how to make this gun full auto. I wish this was capable. The full auto 10/22 is insane fast.
