GT Dist in Austin has used third gen S&W in the $250 ballpark
GT Distributors in Austin has a black rifle sale going on right now.
WMD Guns Beast NIB-X Carbine 5.56- usually $1699 (slightly high) but currently priced at only $999 in store. This price is a minimum of $500 less than the cheapest price I have found anywhere online.

M1As on sale?
I honestly can't say, but I doubt it.
As far as I know, and unless their policies have changed again, they no longer sell M1A's to civilians. They got into some kind of trouble with Springfield Armory about 5-6 years ago for selling to non LEO.
Never hurts to swing by if you don't mind a potentially wasteful drive.
I went in to find a cheap used plinker in 9mm and brought home an new AR in 308 instead. The rifle I purchased was $180 off of their already lower than everybody else's price.
What brand 308? I nights been there when you bought it
Yea...think that was you! Were you talking to the guy about "one new caliber" to reload (loosely quoted)I picked up a BM ORC.
I figured this would cure the 308 itch while keeping it quite reasonable.
Would have much rather had the REPR or the LMT but, after all, I went in ONLY for a used 9mm. I will just have to snatch the wife's 226 when I want to shoot on the cheap. Who would have ever thought that a 9mm (I reload) would be as inexpensive to shoot as a 22LR?
The hand guard fitment on the ORC is truly hideous. Had to go back for Magpul hand guards today.

Haha small ass world!That would have been me. I already reload for 9, 357, 357supermag, 45acp, 45winmag, 223, 300BK, and 22-250.
What's one more?
