Merrills are the only things I have found besides low heeled boots that don't make most of me from my hips down hurt. A lot.

I bought some Red Head hiking boots, and man those things are comfortable. No break in period with them at all. Made for movement and waterproof. I am looking forward to hunting with them this year.

So out of curiosity, do white supremacists actually use the Betsy Ross flag as a symbol?

If that's an actual thing, I won't hold this move against them. I still hold the other moves against them though. Luckily I'm at a place in life that I could afford to throw away all my nike stuff when they chose anthem kneeler as the new face of their advertising. Haven't spent a penny with them since either.

I guess you didn't read what Kaepernick claimed to Nike. It's not about white supremacists or police this time.

I have some fishing buddies that were sponsored by Keen. They swore by them. I'm give them a shot next time & they are made in the USA

Only a few Keen products are made in the US. Be careful which ones you purchase if that's important to you.

About the only "shoes" I wear are Keen sandals. 13 EEEEEE shoe size.

Next time, Nike, seek the advice of someone with skin in the game when making ROI marketing decisions by using an early version of the American flag for profit.

Like a recipient of the Medal of Honor ... there are a number of them still alive.

I've read several different things that he supposedly claimed. One of which is that the flag had been adopted by certain groups.

I wasn't aware I was only allowed to comment on the linked article and not mention other things that were supposedly said according to others.

They own a lot of other brands - Cole Haan, Converse, Umbro to name a few.

I was curious to see what other brands they owned, so I googled it. I knew about Converse and Hurley, but unaware of any others.

Looks like they sold Cole-Hana and Umbro a few years ago

    Sad.

50 years ago, the thought of a football player whining about being offended by a product, because of "his" ideas of right and wong, particularly when his issue is with a symbol of our nations cultural heritage, would have been unthinkable.
