    who did you say did that trigger job on your 10/22?

    Sorry, I put a mental block on your posts.


    I did it myself. Much smoother. Didn't actually lighten the springs but shortened the pull and smoothing out the roughness lightened the pull a little.

    Considered shortening the hammer spring but going too far could cause light strikes. Gonna get an extra spring before I do it. Or maybe not.

    Just some old "fad" rifles: Y'know, direct impingement. Oh yah, and a 72 year old BSA bolt action rifle.
